About Me

Here is a picture of me that my friend had taken in Downtown San Jose.

Hello! My name is Itzel Medina. I am a second year Public Relations student at San Jose State University. I was born in Walnut Creek, CA but I practically grew up in Fresno, CA. I am the youngest daughter out of 4.

When I was younger all I did was travel with my brother’s soccer team. I went with them to every game. Soccer is a big thing in my family. So when I was 6 years old my parents had decided to put me in a soccer team and ever since then I have played soccer for most of my life. I stopped playing once I left for college due to the fact that I needed to focus more on school but soccer will always be a part of me.

Other than going to soccer practices and just enjoying playing soccer with some of my best friends, I also enjoy spending time with my family. I am a big family person. Sometimes when I just go over to my grandma’s house and just play video games or go outside and play with my cousins, nieces and nephews.

I enjoyed playing soccer so much that after I finished playing I decided to become a soccer referee and a soccer coach. If I couldn’t play anymore I still wanted to make sure I was in that environment still and that is what I ended up doing. Just seeing all the kids enjoy the game and play their hearts out makes me happy. I enjoyed seeing others succeed and improve playing soccer. Which brings me to today.

I hope this website can update other soccer fans about what goes on in the soccer world.
